We spent most of our last day in the parks at Universal's Islands of Adventure. Our first stop was back to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter--Hogsmeade.
Hubby and the older boy rode the Dragon Challenge (where you sit in a chair with your feet hanging down and the ride does 5 inversions and goes 57-60 mph!) not once but TWICE! We also all enjoyed the Flight of the Hippogriff rollercoaster ride.
The boys took on the Dragon Challenge! |

Hogwarts Castle |
The Jurassic Park area was also very cool!
O used his "Chris Pratt" powers to tame a velociraptor.
Hubby and the older boy took on Jurassic Park River Adventure and got soaked!
85 foot waterfall at the end! |
No one escapes getting wet on this one |
Great ride! |
Nobody move a muscle! |
We got our Marvel Universe "fix" on Marvel Super Hero Island, where we rubbed elbows with Super Heroes such as Captain American and Spiderman.
Captain America |
Spiderman |
Green Goblin |
Cyclops from the X-Men |
The X-Men's jet |
Then we "hopped" back over to Universal Studios to wander through Hollywood, see some characters, and catch the Simpson's ride (long and nauseating!).
The Brown Derby |
The Mystery Machine from Scooby Doo |
The Minion Mobile from Despicable Me 2 |

And of course, we had to have one last round of Butterbeer in Diagon Alley!
Back at the Knight Bus outside Diagon Alley |
The Czarnecki's (Samuel might remember Mr Z in the portables) were just at Universal Studios and "Harry Potter land"- I think at the same time you were! Looks so fun!
ReplyDeleteThe boys do remember Mr. Z. Too bad we didn't run into them! Hope all is well with you, KJ. :)
